RP = Roller Press For the Roller Press the cavities are carved into two bronze or copper rollers. These pairs of cavities are kept in alignment by the meshing gears at one end of the axle on a hand cranked or power driven machine. The boiled sugar slab is fed into the appropriate side and the candies then come out the other side onto a cooling belt.

BB = Bon Bon Press The Bon Bon Press is similar to the Roller Press exept for the fact that it only has one cylinder to shape the candy.
